Darwin Deez released Songs For Imaginative People, his follow-up to his eponymous debut, Feb. 12 via Lucky Number Music.
Entirely self-recorded and produced in Asheville, North Carolina, then mixed in London, UK, with Charlie Andrew (Alt-J), it’s already reaping critical plaudits from the likes of Nylon, Uncut, NME, Vice and many more, all enchanted by Deez’s latest foray into off-beat, off-kilter guitar pop.
In support of the release, Deez is on the road for an extensive U.S. tour. From the press release: “As anybody who has seen Deez’s live shows can testify, he is an absolutely unique proposition, as he will no doubt be mixing in choreographed dance moves with cast-iron hits like ‘Radar Detector’ and ‘Bad Day’, from his debut, as well as showcasing new material from Songs For Imaginative People.”
