Bear Hands at the Media Club in Vancouver, near the beginning of their spring 2014 North American tour in support of their album Distraction.
The Brooklyn band recently wowed audiences at South By Southwest, prompting NPR to single them out as one of the best discoveries of the festival. The current tour features stops at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Edgefest and Big Guava Music Fest and includes dates with Bombay Bicycle Club and Cage the Elephant.
Distraction has been met with praise from the likes of Consequence of Sound and Alternative Press, who said, “Bear Hands are great… and they’re evolving faster than most of the stuff on your hard drive.” Band members include Dylan Rau, Ted Feldman, Val Loper, and TJ Orscher.
