Artists announced for B.C. music competition Peak Performance Project 2013

Tuesday night (June 11) at Fortune Sound Club, the PEAK Performance Project announced the artists who will compete for big money prizes this year.

Previous Project participants The Boom Booms, Dear Rouge and Dominique Fricot performed.

From the press release: “The project takes 20 bands through a rigorous artist development program… a week-long boot camp, juried showcases at Fortune Sound Club, and challenges aimed at building their careers. It all cumulates at the Finale concert at The Commodore Ballroom, where the top prizes are awarded.”

These include $102.7k (first place), $75k (second), $50 (third), $10 (fourth) and $5k (fifth).

The artists (all Vancouver-based unless otherwise noted) are:
