Just announced – Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival 2013 lineup

Live Nation has just announced the lineup for the 14th Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival. The Aug 10 Deer Lake Park event will feature headliners Blue Rodeo and Charles Bradley as well as ZZ Ward, Shakura S’Aida, Ndidi Onukwulu, David Gogo, Jon and Roy, The Sojourners, John Lee Sanders, Vince Vaccaro, Brickhouse, and Shaun Verreault.

This will mark veteran Canadian roots-rock act Blue Rodeo’s first appearance at the festival. American soul-man Charles Bradley played the Live at Squamish music festival last year.

The Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival begins 1 p.m. (gates 12 p.m.). Tickets are on sale now at www.burnabybluesfestival.com.
