Goldfrapp at the Vogue Theatre, Vancouver, Friday night. The UK electronic duo is on tour for its latest album, Silver Eye.

Alison Goldfrapp (vocals, synthesizer) and Will Gregory (synthesizer) formed the group in London in 1999. They released their Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut Felt Mountain the following year. They followed their debut up with Black Cherry in 2003. Supernature, their next record, produced three number-one US dance singles. It earned a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album.

Seventh Tree and Head First followed. The latter earned the duo their second Grammy Award nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2010. In 2013, the duo released their sixth studio album, Tales of Us. Silver Eye, their long-awaited follow-up, includes the single “Anymore“.
