Said the Whale at the Commodore Ballroom for the first of two shows Saturday Dec. 28.

The all-ages show was followed by a 19+ set later in the evening.

The Vancouver band’s latest album is hawaiii, and features the songs “I Love You” and “Helpless Son”. Band members include Tyler Bancroft, Jaycelyn Brown, Ben Worcester, Spencer Schoening and Nathan Shaw.
