Video – Superchunk, ‘Crossed Wires’

We love Superchunk and here’s why.

In this video, bassist Laura Ballance puts a camera around her cat’s neck. It’s like a bad night on Kitties Gone Wild interspersed with the band playing their song “Crossed Wires” from last year’s Majesty Shredding.

And if you’re wondering how the band (two of whom, Laura and Mac, run indie label Merge Records – home of Arcade Fire) are celebrating Record Store Day tomorrow:

Superchunk are celebrating Record Store Day, the band will release a split 7-inch of Misfits’ covers with Coliseum that is limited to 1,500 copies on three different colors of vinyl. As well, a remastered version of the classic 1995 ‘chunk record Here’s Where the Strings Come In will be reissued on vinyl and CD along with a bonus download of acoustic demos and The Clambakes Vol 5: Cup of Clams.
