Husband-and-wife duo Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland make up Hamilton-based band. They formed Whitehorse in 2010. They have released four albums as Whitehorse, including the latest, Panther in the Dollhouse. It follows 2015’s Leave No Bridge Unburned. That record won the 2016 Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year.

In a 9/10 review of Panther in the Dollhouse for Exclaim!, Kyle Mullin wrote: “It’s thrilling to hear such a talented duo expand their sound, while also making callbacks to the sonic palette that made them so beloved. Whitehorse could easily have played it safe here, but they didn’t; as a result, Panther in the Dollhouse is one of the best albums of the summer, if not the year.”
