Those creative gals at VanDolls Burlesque took their video game burlesque concept to new heights this past weekend. Video Game Burlesque Reloaded is the sequel to last year’s successful Video Game Burlesque, which sold-out its Legion and Red Room shows. For VGBR, the VanDolls put on shows two consecutive nights at the Legion on Commercial Drive.

For the show, Ruffelsilkskin, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, Scarlet Delirium and the rest of the eight-lady troupe enacted – with fleshy twists, of course – scenes from Call of Duty, Resident Evil, Angry Birds and more. Admiral Snackbar provided snacks, including Batman- and Star Wars-related chocolates. The first night was sold-out, and it wouldn’t surprise us if the same wasn’t true for the second show, on Saturday night (March 30).
