Members of the Southern California band include singers Katie Jayne Earl and Colin Dieden, guitarist/singer Josh Hogan, drummer Andy Warren and guitarist Spencer Trent. Their song “San Francisco” reached number 11 on Billboard’s alternative chart in 2013. The band has released an EP and two full-length albums, including 2013’s Waiting for the Dawn. The album features the songs “Say It, Just Say It” and “San Francisco”.

This year, American Authors and The Mowgli’s released a 7″ single for Record Store Day that included the former’s version of “In a Big Country” on one side and the latter’s rendition of Hall & Oates‘ “You Make My Dreams” on the flip.
