The Wrens release new single for Epitonic

The Wrens, who have been keeping folks waiting since 1989, have released a new single for Epitonic.com.

During the Napster crisis of 1999, Epitonic offered free, legal, mp3 downloads from a variety of independent artists. After launching a successful kickstarter campaign, the website is back, and is offering new songs from The Wrens and Marissa Nadler. The site is also featuring previously released songs from LCD Soundsystem, Panda Bear, Fleet Foxes, James Blake, Cut Copy and many more.

As for those New Jersey procrastinators, fans have been anticipating a follow-up to 2003’s incredible The Meadowlands, and this song is a great preview for what is to come.
