Squamish music festival 2013 lineup announced – Queens of Stone Age headline

Diamond Rings and Yukon Blonde played the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver Friday night. Their sets accompanied the announcement of the lineup of the 2013 Squamish Valley Music Festival, formerly Live at Squamish.
Now in its fourth year, the multi-day festival once again features local (including Peak Performance Project 2012 winner Dear Rouge as well as runners-up Dominique Fricot and Jordan Klassen), national and international talent. Yukon Blonde and Diamond Rings will also play Squamish Valley Music Festival.
The festival has been scaled back this year from three days to two (Aug 9-10).
Artists performing across the four stages include:
Queens of the Stone Age, Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Dan Mangan, Gogol Bordello, Divine Fits, Young The Giant, Childish Gambino, Pretty Lights, Fitz and The Tantrums, Jurassic 5, Said the Whale, Capital Cities, Deap Vally, The Heavy, Reignwolf, The Matinee, A Tribe Called Red, Basketball, Bear Mountain, Skratch Bastid, Dustin Bentall and the Smøkes, The Ballantynes, The Funk Hunters, Gang Signs, Nightbox, The Chantrelles, Grandtheft, Fine Times and more.
