Thievery Corporation at Malkin Bowl in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. The group is on tour for its latest album, Culture of Fear. The album features guest vocals from Puma Ptah, then known as Ras Puma, on the tracks “Overstand” and “False Flag Dub.”

Rob Garza and Eric Hilton started the Washington DC recording and DJ collective in 1995. Collaborators include Rob Myers, Loulou Ghelichkhani, Natalia Clavier, Frank “Booty Lock” Mitchell, Mr. Lif, Jeff Franca and Ashish Vyas. Dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, hip hop, electronica and Brazilian are among the genres that the duo incorporates into their music.
