Listen to ‘Christmas Kitty’ by The Muscadettes!

the Muscadettes

Montreal’s the Muscadettes, looking not very Christmas-y.

Music – The Muscadettes’ Christmas Kitty

The Muscadettes have a released a song for Christmas, “Christmas Kitty”.

The Montreal quartet is led by twin sisters, Chantal and Kathleen Ambridge, who are originally from Silicon Valley. According to the press release, the Ambridges are influenced by sixties surf music and ’90s grunge.

Along with Joe Gagné (Les Breastfeeders) and Thomas Augustin (Malajube), the Ambridge sisters recorded their debut album with Ryan Battistuzzi at Montreal’s Breakglass Studio, and mixed the record in Los Angeles with Lewis Pesacov (Best Coast/Fidlar). The Muscadettes performed at this year’s POP Montreal, CMJ Music Marathon and M for Montreal festivals. Details on the album will be announced early in the new year.
