The Pretty Reckless at the Vogue Theatre Sunday night. The group is on tour for its lates album, Going to Hell. The year-long tour for the album ends this November.

The New York City-based band is fronted by Taylor Momsen, best known as the actress who plays Jenny Humphrey on the CW’s Gossip Girl. Other members include Ben Phillips (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums). The Pretty Reckless released its debut album, Light Me Up, in 2010.

Writing in Rolling Stone, Chuck Eddy says Going to Hell “rages with the upbeat, beat-wise humour that hard rock has suppressed ever since grunge.”
