Spencer Petersen and Thomas Carroll, originally from Provo, Utah, founded the group. They debuted last year with their EP Wicket Youth (Kitsune).

From their Dine Alone Records bio: “The duo is often compared to Death From Above 1979 or LCD Soundsystem, though the Utah-born members play everything live with a penchant for classic instrumentation, perhaps more reminiscent of Beck’s Mellow Gold era or Pavement.”

The band released their debut full-length, Long Long Way From The Fringe, earlier this year.
