Peter Dreimanis and Leah Fay formed the band in Toronto in 2012. Other members include guitarist Ian Docherty, bassist Josh Warburton, and drummer Danny Miles. They released their self-titled debut album later that year. In 2015 they received a Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year. The album went gold in Canada the same year.

The band released its second album Touch in 2016 .”Push + Pull“, the album’s first single, went to #1 on the Canadian Alternative Radio charts. It held that position for more than 12 weeks. The band’s label released the song to American Alternative Radio in September 2016.
The Toronto alt-rock outfit has earned a reputation for explosive live shows. Since the release of their debut, they have toured Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia, and played numerous festival.
