Now based in the U.S., Betty Who (Jessica Anne Newhamin) is best known for her 2016 single, “I Love You Always Forever.” The single peaked inside the top ten in Australia. She released her second album, The Valley, on March 24 2017.

According to Wiki, Newhamin was born in Sydney, Australia. She lived there until her mid-teens. Since the age of four she has trained as a cellist. In 2007 she moved to the U.S. to attend Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan.

Newham is also self-taught on piano and guitar, and wrote her first songs at age 14, and began performing as a singer-songwriter at age 16. She released her debut EP The Movement in 2013. She followed it with a second EP, Slow Dancing, in 2014. Later that year, she released her debut full-length, Take Me When You Go.

“I Love You Always Forever”, as well as the singles “Human Touch”, “Some Kinda Wonderful”, and “Mama Say”, preceded the album’s release.
