This debut night of the new show Awakenings from Pandora and the Locksmiths featured contemporary songs and performances with an ethereal, dream-like theme. A live band covered songs from Radiohead and Aretha FranklinÂ with routines from dancersÂ Miss Fitt, Miss Kiss, Burgundy Brixx and Ruthe Ordare.Â The show also featured photos taken byÂ Ninedoors Photography, made up of dancer/vocalistÂ Nicky NinedoorsÂ and Â her husband, John Bews, the bass player in Pandora and the Locksmiths.

This debut show of Awakenings was one of three more shows happening eachÂ FridayÂ this month. Awakenings has also been accepted into theÂ 2014Â International Vancouver Burlesque FestivalÂ (May 1-3).
