A benefit for Imagine1Day was held at District 319 (319 Main) Friday July 9. The occasion was the selection of a winning design for the Vancouver-based non-profit organization’s first T-shirt. Judges from the city’s design, fashion and art industries selected Susan Mavor’s “only the educated are free” (above) from over 40 designs submitted. All proceeds from shirt sales will go towards funding imagine1day’s education projects and help send children in Ethiopia to school.
