Win two tickets to Black Keys June 27 at Deer Lake Park

Well, we’re less than a day away from our draw for two Black Keys tickets tomorrow (Monday, June 27) at Deer Lake Park, and no clear winner has emerged in our “Rename Guttersnipe” contest. In fact, the two closest contenders both come from contributors: Rachel Fox suggested just shortening the name to “The Snipe” (which we think would be better as “The Daily Snipe”) while Robyn Hanson has suggested Peanut Lolita, a name so abstract, silly and borderline perverse that we almost want to call the site by that name.

So that probably doesn’t help you, the potential contestant; “What the hell do they want,” you might be asking yourself. Well if we knew that we wouldn’t be holding this contest!

We still want your suggestions. So if you have any ideas on what to rename the site – something catchy, but that also at least hints what the site is about (movies, music, books, photography – pop culture in general) let us know. We’ll pick our favourite tomorrow, June 27, at 10 a.m.
