Continuing a tradition begun last year, Amanda Palmer returned to the Vogue Theatre for a concert/party. The evening included performances by friends and guests of the TED conference, happening this week in Vancouver.

Among Palmer’s guests were Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield and Palmer’s husband, author Neil Gaiman.

“What an amazing night,” Snipe photog Kirk Chantraine wrote. “I couldn’t tear myself away from the spectacular guests – from opera singers to New York Times crossword authors, she had an amazing array of talent on stage. Plus of course her cover of Sia‘s ‘Chandelier’ on piano.”

Admission to the four-hour evening was a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

Other guests included Jason Webley, Palmer’s “conjoined twin” from the duo Evelyn Evelyn; Sri Lankan opera singer Tharanga Goonetilleke, with pianist Kerry O’Donovan; Dan Pallotta; musician Usman Riaz; spoken-word artist Sarah K; body language expert Amy Cuddy, who performed a duet with Palmer on a song by the latter’s old band Dresden Dolls; and New York Times crossword writer David Kwong.
