Black Lips Extend US Tour
Atlanta’s Black Lips, known for their hook-laden psychedelic garage pop and incredible live performances, are extending their US tour this summer.
In addition to their April dates with Vivian Girls, the band will tour the West Coast in June (with a Vancouver stop June 15). Black Lips will be touring with New York’s hardcore punk band Cerebal Ballzy, and playing material from their forthcoming full-length album produced by top 40 wizard Mark Ronson. Spin hails this upcoming record as being one of their “30 Must-Hear Albums of 2011.”
