Opening act Robyn slyly evades the question of whether or not she’s a fan of headliner Katy Perry
In an interview posted Jan 28 on Time Out New York, interviewer Sophie Harris asks Robyn if she likes the music of Katy Perry, whom she’ll open for on this summer’s California Dreams World Tour. The Swedish singer declined comment and, according to the interview, giggled – perhaps a better response then, “Shit no! Are you kidding?”

You’re opening for Katy Perry this summer—how did that happen?
I was asked by her to do it and thought it was a good way of getting to know her audience. It’s bigger than mine. [Laughs]
And are you a fan of hers?
You know what? I have to go now. [Giggles]
Really?
Yeah! I do. But it’s nice to talk to you.
