Singing sensation Rihanna brings her Loud Tour to Canada
Live Nation has just announced that Rihanna, fresh off her Grammy performance with that dweeb Eminem last night, will bring her 2011 North American Loud Tour to Vancouver June 24.
Tickets ($19.75, $39.75, $59.75, $69.75 & $99.75) for the Rogers Arena show go on sale Feb 18 at 10 a.m. (charge by phone 1-855-985-5000).
According to the press release, the new show “will feature all new production, costumes and stage design creating a visual and audio event.” The tour will begin on June 4 in Baltimore, Maryland.
“We’re creating an incredible ride with this tour. I’m excited to get out on the road and share my new music from this album.” the Barbadian superstar is quoted as saying in the announcement. “We are going to have an amazing time and I know my fans are ready to get Loud!”
Loud is Rihanna’s fifth album since 2005. It’s reached #1 in six countries and is currently the #1 UK album. Her recent singles include “S&M”, “Only Girl” and “What’s My Name”.
Other Canadian tour dates include Toronto (June 7), Winnipeg (June 18), Saskatoonn (June 19), Calgary (June 21) and Edmonton (June 22).
