First video from Tori Amos’ new album Night of Hunters
The video for Tori Amos’ “Carry”, from her forthcoming (Sept 20) album, Night of Hunters, premiered today on her Facebook page. There, you can also unlock a stream of the album’s opening track “Shattering Sea”.

According to a press release, Night of Hunters “is a 21st-century song cycle that finds Tori drawing on themes from Satie, Granados, Chopin and other great composers. It tells a modern love story that is only unraveled after a journey to Ireland’s mythic past.” So it’s got nothing to do with the Robert Mitchum classic Night of the Hunter, then.
An all-acoustic work, the album includes guests The Apollon Musagete Quartet and Berlin Philharmonic clarinet soloist Andreas Ottensamer. Classical label Deutsche Grammophon is releasing the album.
Tori Amos has also announced the US leg of her Night of Hunters Tour, which begins Nov 29 in Atlanta and concludes Dec 22 in Dallas. North American tour dates are listed below and more information can be found on ToriAmos.com.
