Lorde at the PNE Amphitheatre, Vancouver, on Sunday evening. The singer/songwriter headlined iHeartRadio Canada inaugural iHeartRadio Beach Ball. It continues today at the Fair at the PNE.
The Sept. 3 lineup, presented by Virgin Radio, also featured Alessia Cara, Liam Payne, The Strumbellas, Shawn Hook, Scott Helman, Virginia to Vegas, and Ralph.
Lorde (b. Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor in 1996) is best known for her ubiquitous 2013 hit “Royals”. She subsequently released her debut solo full-length, Pure Heroine. The New Zealand artist released the follow-up, Melodrama, this year. Singles include “Green Light”, “Perfect Places” and “Sober”.
