Lumerians at Media Club

Lumerians will play at the Media Club July 22. The Oakland-based space-rock quintet is on tour for their debut album Transmalinna, which borrows its title from a psychedelic fingerpainting that was part of artist/poet Eugene Von Bruenchenchein’s “voyage into space” series.  The fingerpainting is also the album cover art.

Transmalinna was recorded in a former church in the “Murder Dubbs” neighborhood of Oakland. The band converted the church into a recording studio and home brewery.
