Video game news digest – Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and more

- by Robert Sutherland (@Sutherland604)

- Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is dropping Nov 11. This highly anticipated RPG is poised to be a classic. Dragons, magic, massive open world and deep player customization has fans of the Elder Scrolls saga drooling in wait. But like most things in life that come with a shit-tonne of hype attached to it, only time will tell.

Trailer – Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim:

- Roughly 3,000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 were stolen from a delivery truck outside Paris this week. The title was released on the 8th and these stolen copies were taken on the 6th. I wonder if it was a random delivery truck robbery or some REALLY dedicated CoD fans?

- Star Wars: The Old Republic has released yet another character progression video in anticiaption for this PC exclusive title’s release in december. Check out the latest video for the Imperial Agent class:

- The XBOX 360 Holiday Bundles for 2011 has been confirmed and will be available soon. Along with the 250GB XBOX, you get Halo: Reach and Fable 3 *coughLAMEcough*.

- Ubisoft confirms ANOTHER Assassin’s Creed sequel will be out in 2012. Give me a moment to exit the Animus to pre-order this.

- I spent about 25 minutes in a Best Buy this week playing Dance Central 2 on the Kinnect… I gotta say, despite making you look like an idiot in a major electronics store, the game is quite fun. The “dance skills” you get from this game don’t seem to be real-world ready; I feel as though if I started doing the speed-bag move in the air while jumping around in a circle I will NOT be getting any numbers in the club.
