Last night, the Rio Theatre hosted a fashion show before a screening of the new Zach Snyder (300, Watchmen) flick Sucker Punch. The movie features actresses Abbie Cornish and Carla Gugino, among others running around in ’50s burlesque outfits and other period dress. Lace Embrace Atelier’s Melanie Talkington, who was commissioned by the movie’s costume designer to fashion corsets for the actresses, teamed up with Scout Boutique and TrunkShow by Misty Greer to put on the show.
