Shocker: Amber Heard‘s and Nicolas Cage‘s characters don’t fall immediately into bed in the new movie Drive Angry 3D.
In fact, it appears the two characters (hers is named “Piper”) don’t have sex at all.
Usually in something as determined-to-be-schlocky as Drive Angry, some age-inappropriate sex (Heard is 25, Cage is 46) would be a given. But not this time out.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that the filmmakers don’t exploit Amber Heard‘s looks…

But from what we’ve seen of the movie, the Texan, who has previously starred as “the girlfriend” in Pineapple Express and The Stepfather, is probably one of the few reasons to see it. And we’re not just saying that because there’s a nude catfight (well, one of the girls is naked) in the movie, which Heard talks about in an interview with Vulture.
Here’s an excerpt::
Vulture: “What is it like to block out a fight scene where you’re up against someone who’s full-frontal?”
Amber Heard: “Oh, I’d never really thought about it like that, strangely enough. Well, we didn’t rehearse naked! [Laughs.] It was interesting, but to be honest with you, I really didn’t even notice that she was naked while we were filming it. I mean, obviously she was, but that’s the last thing I was thinking about. Primarily, I didn’t want to punch her in the face on accident! There’s a lot to be said for real stunt people who fight for a living, because the hardest part is not hurting somebody. And who wants to be safe when you’re making a movie like this?”

Ms Heard’s future projects include a pilot for a “historical” series about Playboy bunnies, according to Deadline. The show will be set at a Playboy club in New York in the sixties.
