Adrianne Palicki has been cast as the new Wonder Woman in an upcoming NBC TV series based on the DC Comics’ superhero. The 27-year-old actress from Toledo, Ohio, has previously been seen in Legion and Friday Night Lights, and has a starring role in the new remake of the 1984 movie Red Dawn (no release date scheduled).
Palicki’s other movie projects includes Getting Rachel Back, Rewrite, Popstar, Seven Mummies and Breaking the Girl.
She’s also appeared in Venezulean filmmaker Sebastian Gutierrez’ movies Women in Trouble and Elektra Luxx (Elektra Luxx trailer) with Carla Gugino.
