Yep, indie-rock royalty Pavement has announced a Vancouver show; the band plays Queen Elizabeth Theatre Sept. 7. Tickets go on say at 10 a.m. May 1 at ickets $39 advance available through www.ticketmaster.ca and at Red Cat, Scratch, Zulu and Highlife records (support your local record store!).

I won’t be there because I saw them many times back in the day, and it’s a seated venue.
However, to any of you that never got to see Pavement live I’d recommend checking them out. It’s unfortunate this is a typical re-hash show with no new material, and that it’s at a seated venue, however, this band made some of the best music of the past 20 years and they were always fun live. Do it!
