Last Gang Records is over the moon to announce the Canadian release of Together, the fifth full-length album from The New Pornographers! Out May 4th, the album was co-produced by the band and Phil Palazzolo. Together was recorded for the most part in Vancouver with additional recording in Brooklyn, Woodstock and Catskill, New York. Comprised of nine A.C. Newman songs and three Dan Bejar numbers, the album features the full eight person line up of Carl, Dan, John Collins, Neko Case, Kurt Dahle, Kathryn Calder, Todd Fancey and Blaine Thurier. Additional musicians included Annie Clark (St.. Vincent), Zach Condon (Beirut), Will Sheff (Okkervil River) and the Dap-Kings Horns, among other talents.
Take our word for it, the album is great! More varied, deeper and broader than its predecessors, Together promises to be the soundtrack of your summer.
