Update: Lindsay Lohan, pratfall involved in latest Paz contretemps
According to a Splash News report on Monsters and Critics, Samantha Swetra was sitting at a hotel bar table with pal Lindsay Lohan when Paz de la Huerta threw a glass at Swetra, before punching her in the face.
The report says that the Boardwalk Empire actress was angry over a comment Swetra made when de la Huerta stumbled. The New York Daily News reports that, after Paz knocked into a table and a boob popped out of her dress, Swetra shouted out, “Double axel!” It was left to Lindsay to pick shards of glass out of Swetra’s leg.
De la Huerta will face a misdemeanor assault charge when she appears in court April 19 (or 18, depending on the source).
Based on behaviour like this, as well as her stumble outside Chateau Marmont and being seen drunk with Quentin Tarantino, de la Huerta is fast on her way to becoming The Snipe’s favourite hellion, beating out the Olson twins and Snooki.
Boardwalk Empire actress Paz heading for court
Paz de la Huerta, the actress that has stunned a cable audience with her body of work on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, is scheduled for a court appearance April 18.
The actress/model apparently got into a fight with style maven Samantha Swetra. The latter is a former cast member of The City, an MTV show on which she appeared as Sami, a buyer for Bergdorf Goodman in NYC.

According to reports, Paz began flirting with Samantha’s male friend. Swetra began making catty remarks about our Paz, who responded by punching and throwing a glass at Swetra. TMZ.com reports that Swetra’s friend helped her pick the pieces of glass out of her leg. The City star filed a police report with her lawyer today.
According to AP, the incident is alleged to have occurred Sunday night (March 20) at the Standard Hotel bar in Manhattan’s West Village.
