As everyone knows, Teenage Dream, the new Katy Perry record, was released this week. As everyone – or at least, everyone who pays attention to pop culture, also knows – Perry is also engaged to Russell Brand, star of stage, screen and author of the memoir My Booky Wook.
In a recent article in the Guardian UK, Katy Perry had this to say about her new-ish beau and their 10-year age gap (not that Guttersnipe has an inordinate amount of interest in the subject): “He knows that I’m young and have friends and a social life… Every once in a while I need to remind him of that and he listens. It’s all about communication. It’s not about taming… We all start to slow down. I think he was ready for change. I mean, you just don’t have the stamina to be in bed with 80 different women a week when you’re 35 and trying to do good work.”
Tell it to Jesse James. Oh right, he’s a “sex addict” – that’s the difference.
