The new Thirty Seconds to Mars single (from the forthcoming album This is War) was released today, and it’s a doozy. Fronted by Jared Leto, the former star of the American TV series My So Called Life, the L.A.-based modern rock band has pulled out all the stops on the song, which attempts to make U2 sound like a jug band.
The record company assures us it’s “a refreshing and true alternative to the ‘regular’ rock music out there today… a brilliant masterpiece!” Well, we’re not sure about that, unless by “masterpiece” they mean “guaranteed to sell thousands of T-shirts.”

I could not get a word of what Jared was saying. Same type of sound as the old songs, add the chorus. Not impressed.

Is Istvan. I like new 30 Seconds to Mapc single is maybe nest yet from AMericans rock and roll electric music group of Jarett Leto, very good very good. He is singing is reminded Istvan of Vladimir Vysotsky and Zhanna Bichevskaya don’t says you did not notuce peoples ha ha! I am Istvan.

Hey coconutrose72, in case you didn’t grasp Drinky Crow’s original post, it is NOT a glowing review of the song-in fact it’s quite negative, so what are YOU doing here? Some people don’t like it, it’s only a personal opinion and not something for you to bust a blood vessel over. Fangirls are SO frigging annoying. *rolls eyes*

@TheRealDeal -You are right, of course liking the song does not make someone a fangirl and I apologize for being snarky. Some like it, some don’t and that’s okay. However, it is the fangirls that have trouble excepting an opinion differing from thiers, and the childish tantrums that follow make me wish that Jared Leto looked like that ogre from Shrek instead of the hotness he is. haha
@stuffinstuff: It’s no one’s fault Jared Leto is hot(ok,maybe his mother’s fault). I have to agree that there are some girls who are totally obsessed with him, but what can we do?
