original Batman art by Bob Kane
The Bleeding Cool website has published some scans of original Batman comic book art proofs by original Batman artist/creator Bob Kane. The actual original art for most original “golden age” (i.e., pre-Marvel) comic books got tossed into the garbage, as did the production proofs, so these are extremely rare – in fact, apparently they were rescued from the curbside trash by a guy who lived in the same Queens apartment building as Kane.
