Writers & Readers Festival brings Michael Moore to Vancouver
Documentarian/author and all-around rabble-rouser comes to Vancouver to talk about his new memoir, Here Comes Trouble, Sept 18.
The Vancouver International Writers & Readers Festival presentation is Moore’s only scheduled Canadian appearance, and comes the week that the book is published (Grand Central Publishing is releasing it Sept 13).
Tickets for the Stanley Industrial Alliance Theatre appearance are $17 for adults and $15 for seniors and students, and go on sale today through Vancouvertix.com or by calling 604 629 8849.
Moore`s appearance pre-dates the annual six-day Writers Festival by a month. Once again on Granville Island, the festival will also feature other fall special events including Michael Ondaatje, David Sedaris, Anthony Bourdain, Wade Davis and Chuck Palahniuk.
