AMC airs the ’60s Batman movie

AMC airs the 1966 Batman movie, based on the TV series, this Thursday night (Sept 6; check local listings).

We couldn’t help posting a small tribute to this camp classic, including a few images, a trailer, and a link to this interesting “Alcott’s Analysis” (“WHO IS BRUCE WAYNE? Bruce Wayne is tall, handsome, wealthy and dumb as a post.”) from The Comics Beat website.

Adam West and Burt Ward are Batman and Robin (1966).

Oh, and here’s another link. Many might not be aware that actor Burt Ward (Robin) wrote a tell-all memoir, Boy Wonder: My Life in Tights. Not worth reading, apparently, as most of the book is spent bragging about the size of his organ, if the reviews are to be believed.
