Video–Hannah Georgas covers Simple Minds’ ‘(Don’t You) Forget About Me’

Exclaim! cover girl and Vancouver Island native Hannah Georgas plays a CD release party for her critically acclaimed full-length debut, This Is Good this Saturday night at the Venue in Vancouver. Produced by Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara) and Mother Mother‘s Ryan Guldemond, the album sports the most modestly Canadian title since Dan Mangan‘s Nice Nice Very Nice.

In the meantime, to put you in the mood, here’s the Vancouver Island native bringing back the ’80s with her version of the Simple Minds classic “(Don’t You) Forget About Me”, made famous by the movie The Breakfast Club and not written by the band itself.
